1. Education Loan
To ensure it student will not be burdened with financial problem, NUB tries to get education loans from its sponsors. At the moment, NUB has arranged to receive education loans from Arab Bangladesh Bank Ltd. NUB also provides several funds to assist the students such as IBAT Trust scholarship, Semester result based scholarships etc.
2. Personal Development Activities
In producing a quality, well rounded and disciplined graduate, NUB students are exposed to various activities to mould and develop their personalities such as University Study Forum. The aim of this program is to expose the students on the spirit of respecting and loving the religion, nation and country. This programmed also aims to instill the spirit of cooperation and understanding issues relating to the development of country.
3. Cultural Activities
In order to produce graduates who are well-rounded and culturally active, students are encouraged to participate in cultural program organized either by the university or the students themselves. Not only that they will be exposed to different cultures, it is also hoped they will be able to organize such program themselves.
4. Residential Hostels
Students' residential hostels have always been the main priority of the Student Affairs Division. Students themselves are also encouraged to organize activities through the Students Affairs.
5. Training & Placement (TP)

A Training & Placement (TP) Unit has been set up to offer service and professional assistance for the students to improve their self excellence, personality and future prospects in their careers. It assists the student in various aspects including self-adaptability in the campus, academic guidance and complex problem or psychology problems. The counseling service that is offered to the students includes:

1. Face to face Individual Counseling and group counseling.
Individual meetings as well as in groups are in service. Students can also contact their counselor using e-mail.
2. Time Management Workshop & Effective Education Techniques.
This workshop is opened for all students by booking the workshop session that is scheduled from time to time. Students will be helped to organize their study time and to learn the study techniques more effectively.
3. Fit 4 Future
Counseling for Career is opened to the students to identify their personality in choosing the suitable career that fits them. It provides various techniques to hunt the right career for their future including the techniques of interview, writing resume and others.
4. Motivation and Career Centre:
This centre is to assist the students to improve their self motivation and increase the choices of career through the sources provided by the counseling service which is opened to the students during the office hour.
5. Health Service:
This office is here to help when you need it. Here you will find information about doctor's advice, required immunizations and more. We have a sister concern of IBAT Trust named Northern International Medical College Hospital where our consulting physician, pathologists can handle many of health care needs by providing some remarkable fees waiver.
6. Religious Resources Center:
This center coordinates religious activities and serves the spiritual needs of the university community. The staff is available to persons of all creeds and will make referrals to resources of particular religious traditions in the greater community at the request of individual.
7. NETWORK OF NUB ALUMNI:
When you graduate with a higher degree from the Northern University, Bangladesh, you will join a NUB Alumni Network who feels connected all over the world. We have groups of alumni in many countries, particularly in South East Asia and North America. The purpose of the Student Alumni League is to establish, foster and promote relationships among and between NUB students, alumni, staff, faculty, and the University community. It is a link to the future for current students as future alumni.
