Mutasim Billah Faruque and Abdul Matin reelected as President and Secretary of Northern University Bangladesh (NUB) Alumni Association on first two-yearly annual general meeting of association. The meeting was held at Banani Campus of NUB on 13th January, 2012. Prof. Dr. M. Shamsul Haque, Vice-Chancellor of NUB and Chief Adviser of the Association was the Chief Guest in the program.
In the meeting, an executive committee of 27 member of NUB Alumni Association was elected for 2012-13. Md. Ashraful Islam, Deputy Registrar, NUB and Alumni Ferdaus Iqbal was the Chief and assistant election commissioner of executive committee of NUB Alumni Association.
Chief Guest Prof. Dr. M. Shamsul Haque welcomed the new executive committee of NUB Alumni Association and said that, Alumni Association is one of the most valuable parts of an educational institution. He called upon them to fulfill their duty efficiently to NUB as a well-wisher and to serve for the socio-economic development.
