Rules and Regulations for computer lab users
- Students must present a valid ID card before entering the computer lab.
- Playing of any games in the lab is strictly prohibited.
- Before leaving the lab, users must close all programs positively and keep the desktop blank.
- Students are strictly prohibited from modifying or deleting any important files and install any software.
- Based on the prime priority, users may be requested by the In-Charge, IT Division to leave the workstation any time and the compliance is a must.
- Eating and drinking inside the computer labs is strictly prohibited both for the students and for the faculty members. However, these may be done in some specific place outside the labs.
- Students are not allowed to carry any bag inside the lab, but for safe custody they must follow the existing rules for keeping the bags/folders.
- Timing of labs is 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM except Friday and holidays
- Students are strictly prohibited from downloading, viewing or distributing any offensive materials (for example pornography, profane language, etc.)
- Internet facility is strictly for educational purposes only.
- Silence must be maintained in the labs at all cost.
- The labs must be kept clean and tidy at all times.
- If any problem arises, please bring the same to the notice of IT Officer/IT In-Charge.
