Academic Council :

The Academic Council is the highest academic body, which formulates necessary policies and rules on academic matters related to students, teachers, programs of study & examinations, etc. The Vice-Chancellor is the Chairperson and others are the members of the Syndicate. It is comprised of the following members:
(I) Vice-Chancellor
(II) Pro Vice Chancellor
(III) Treasurer
(IV) Chairperson of the IBAT Trust
(V) Vice-Chairperson of the IBAT Trust
(VI) All Deans of the Faculty
(VII) All Heads of the Department
(VIII) Two faculty members (not below the rank of Associate Professor)
(IX) Two External Academicians nominated by the Syndicate on recommendation of the Vice-Chancellor
(X) One Patron nominated by the Trust
(XI) Controller of Examinations
The Registrar of the University will act as Secretary of the Syndicate.
