Northern University Bangladesh (NUB) rewarded the Bangladesh National Women’s Cricket Team for achieving ‘One day International Cricket Status’ in International Women’s Cricket. Dept. of ‘Marketing Development Promotion and Branding’ arranged a colorful reception program on 21 January, 2012 at NUB Banani Campus. Every member of National Cricket Team was presented with crest and special offer letter to complete any of courses of NUB for Undergraduate and Post graduate program with 100% scholarship.
Prof. Dr. Abu Yousuf Md. Abdullah, Chairman, NUB Trust was the Chief Guest and Dipu Roy Chowdhury, Manager, National Women’s Cricket Team was the special guest . Prof. Dr. Md. Nurul Islam, Dean, Faculty of Science and Engineering chaired the program and Lt. Col. (Rtd.) Aqtedar Ahmed Siddiqui, Registrar gave inaugural speech in the program. Among others, Major (Rtd.) Nizam Uddin Ahmed, Executive Director, NUB Trust, William H. Darenger, Associate Dean, Faculty of Business, Eng. Prof. Md. Saifur Rahman, Head, Dept. of Textile, Associate Prof. Engr. Md. Badiuzzaman, Head, Dept. of EEE, Md. Saiful Alam Munir, Deputy Registrar, AHM Shamim (Tuhin), Deputy Registrar, Abul Matin, Senior Asst. Registrar of Marketing Development, Promotion and Branding and other Teachers and officers were also present on the occasion.
Chief Guest Prof. Dr. Abu Yousuf Md. Abdullah welcomed the National Women’s Cricket Team for achieving ‘One day International Cricket Status’ and said that we are proud to reward the Bangladesh National Women’s Cricket Team. At that time he offered to Crest and certificate and special offer letter with 100% scholarship at NUB to complete any of courses of NUB for Undergraduate and Post graduate program the all member of National Women’s Cricket Team.
Dipu Roy Chowdhury, Manager, and Salma Khatun, Camptain, Bangladesh National Women’s Cricket Team also spoke in the program. The program was ended by a fabulous cultural event.
