Northern University Library (NUB), established in 2002, is the heart of the university. The university library offers its users a full range of information and enquiry services with the help of state-of-state techniques and technologies. The library’s mission is to enable and enrich the teaching, learning and research endeavors of the university by delivering flexible access to relevant information resources and providing quality services and facilities.
NUB has 5 (five) libraries in its 5 (five) campuses located at 1. City Campus, Kawran Bazar, Dhaka 2. Business Campus, Dhanmondi, Dhaka 3. Banani Campus, Banani, Dhaka 4. Rajshahi Campus, Rajshahi 5. Khulna Campus, Khulna containing of about 1, 00200 books, 687 of volume journals, 456 audio-visual materials. Library of Congress Classification System is being used to organize and arrange information resources of this library.
The NUB library is now automated through KOHA software, developed by University IT Division. In order to ensure security of the library and its resources, a closed circuits TV camera network operates round the clock.
