Message from Head

It is my felicity to inform that the department of pharmacy, Northern University Bangladesh (NUB) is one of the leading departments in pharmacy education in the country. Over the few years, we have made great strides in quality pharmacy education, providing unique learning opportunities for students and meeting the challenge of industry demands. We have talented and ambitious students and skilled and accomplished faculty members. Our department boasts faculty expertise in pharmacy discipline and is positioned well in the country in pharmacy education. The department admits qualified students after aptitude test. The pharmacist and the pharmaceutical scientist are key players in making sure that new and existing drug therapies are safe when they come to market, are prescribed appropriately, are used safely and are accessible to those who need them. We will be in forefront in developing a full understanding of drug safety and quality issues and implementing approaches to reducing medication errors that cost our nation dearly. Even though we are among the best, there is always room for improvement where the health and welfare of people are concerned. The process of improvement never ends. As the American philosopher Will Rogers said, "Even if you are on the right track, if you don't move you will get run over," Well our department continues to be on the move. We are especially looking forward to the future with great anticipation and excitement. I am proud to be part of the department of pharmacy, NUB.
