Course Curriculum

The mission of the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering at the Northern University of Bangladesh is to develop and maintain programs of excellence in teaching and research which will support national needs for the development and application of electronics based high technology.

ECE is a key player in spurring the national growth through innovative research, educational, and commercialization activities and has taken that expansion beyond the city's borders. Led by faculty at the top of their fields, ECE academics are augmented by research centers and labs that provide students with hands-on experience and by international programs that teach students how to succeed in the global high-tech marketplace.

Minimum 2nd division or GPA 2.5 in both SSC and HSC or equivalent examinations (Science background with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in HSC or equivalent level ) or 'O' Level in five subjects and 'A' Level in two subjects with minimum 'C' grade in each or US high school diploma/GED from USA.

Moreover students may be required to take non-credit courses depending on their level of English and Mathematics. They are also required to complete project and thesis towards the end of their completion of degree requirement.

This course is designed in such a way that a student can choose any of the four specializations like ETE (Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering), CSE (Computer Science and Engineering), ICE (Information and Communication Engineering) and EEE (Electrical and Electronics Engineering).
